i am seeing 222 everywhere, at first i figured it was just a coincidence, then it was everywhere i couldnt name all the accounts, but i see it a minimum of 3 to a max of 10 times a day straight for the past 3 months. nearing the day of 2/22 is when i started losing it. i got a text with a job offer at 2:22 so i was talking to my friend about it who works there and his boss and his friend got in a near fatal car wreck on 2/22 in years past,  they had tattoos of 222 on their legs then got them covered with records. i go to this job opportunity and the number is everywhere on every box label wall in the place so i left in panic. then i had this crazy nightmare (first nightmare in years) It started out in the house i grew up in and my mom asked me to help my uncle move his belongings into a storage unit. we get to his house which is some creepy house that seemed like something straight out of the shining. i walk up to this wall because I heard pounding and there was a door halfway up the wall. it opens up to a hotel hallway with a man at the end of it yelling at me ( what was said i cant remember) i left the house was walking down the street and i had that feeling when you know your life is in danger and everything slows down, and a car drives off the road and onto the sidewalk and runs me over then i cant remember after that. now to real life. get this I woke up to my mom calling my cell asking me if i would be able to help her move some of her belongings out of my bros house into a storage unit. i figured that was a weird premonition but what has me freaking out is that we were moving everything into the truck which has 222 in the phone num. i get in the truck to start it up first lines of a song were “if i die tonight bring me back to life.” then i am at the bar with a freind.  I have been lonely hadnt been with a girl in 6 or so months, at the bar at the beginning of 2/22 i met some chick and we ended up messing around in the bathroom, the back of a minivan, then at a hotel. woke up to a static noise on an alarm clock that wasnt set to the right time walk over to turn it off it says 12:22. so i am sitting here now drinking a pbr and the code has 222 in it so i decided to tear through my apt tonight and this is what i found hiding: and there is on a bank statement 222 owed on my credit card (which has 222 in the account no. as well, then there is a map of the red river gorge that has a police emergency number with 222 in it AND the trail list goes 216,217,218,219,220,221,223 it skips 222! there are about 10 different bottles of soap lotion food ect that have 222 in it and I had a cd release show poster saved on my computer i saw it and it said as the file name dc_101_222.  so i decided to do my research first clue– my itunes has only one song that is 2:22 in time length its called “alone down there” the lyrics gave me chills -

then i looked up on google and in wikipidia there were 16 deaths accounted in the year 222. all murdered or killed. i have 16 pictures on my camera of 222 that i took tearing up my apt! 222 is also the num that divides a circle into the golden ratio, the golden ratio is used to draw the pentagram.  I am still looking for more clues there has to be an answer. in dedication to my vision I got my first tattoo. it is 222 th 3 lines on the bottom of the 2’s forming a triangle with the illuminati in the center. was tattooed on yest on 2/22 in the final hour. lastly, as the guy was finishing my tattoo my bro texted me out of nowhere “hey it 2/22 i just wanted to know your still alive.”  my birthday is day of the dead 11/2/86   1+1 =2   8-6 = 2      thus 222  WHAT DOES IT MEAN

It started with seeing 2:22 on my clock before leaving for the evening shift.  Then the odometer turned 107,222 when stopping at a light. Later in the evening, my coworker pointed out to me that 2/22/10 will be my weekend off from work. When wanting to email a friend my latest 222 encounters with photos, my iPhone literally died on me requiring Apple to talk me through rebooting it. This same evening I drove for 1.5 hours to help a friend move out of storage. We talked in his kitchen for a while before I noticed over his shoulder a series of 222’s on his refrigerator magnet. On this day 222 was symbolic for HELP in more ways than one in my travels, my iPhone, and in major stressors related to helping a friend move out of storage.

I’m so excited about our site! It just keeps growing every day! Please take the time to welcome our new bloggers, we love your stories, I hope everyone continues to share their stories.

Here in New York, we’ve been having a strange summer. It rained all of June, usually we’re experiencing heat waves during this time of the year. But it has finally gotten warmer, which I’m very happy about. Now that I’m out more, enjoying the sunny weather, I’ve seen a surge in my 222 sightings, and have been dutifully photographing them. I was in Costa Rica about 3 weeks ago and was amazed by how many times I saw the number 222, it was everywhere! I was able to take several photos of the sightings, here is one of those photos, I will post more in the coming days:

OK WELL I JUST TURNED 15 AND SINCE THE VERY LAST FEW MONTHS OF BEING 14 I STARTED SEEING THE NUMBER 222 IN SCHOOL JUST RANDOMLY LOOK UP AND IT WILL SAY 222 ILL WAKE UP AT NIGHT AND SEE 222 I WAS BORN 2/2/94 ON GROUND HOGS DAY MY DAD HAS THIS BOOK THAT TELLS ABOUT NUMBERS AND 222 SAID NO WORRIES BUT TILL THEN IT WILL STILL BE A MYSTERY IT SHOWS UP EVERY DAY AND ONCE I SEE IT I PRAY FOR 1MIN TO GOD TO ANSWER WHAT IT MEANS IS IT GOOD OR IS IT BAD IDK IF IM CRAZY BUT I BELIEVE IT A GOOD SIGN BUT TILL THEN.

Hey there everyone, I am profoundly moved by the amount of posts we have been receiving lately. I remember when the site first launched early last year, posts would come in twice a month. As whisper and several other authors pointed out, the amount of posts have increased significantly since the beginning of the year.  We are receiving on average 3 new postings a day. It’s great that everyone is sharing their stories and theories, but something I would also like to see are 222 sightings tracked in real time. This is a feature I am currently trying to developing into the site. Eventually I would also like each author to be able to have their own profile so that you can post your email or contact info so others can reach you, making communication easier among us. There are so many more features I would like to create, but I’m taking them one step at a time. If anyone has any other ideas, please feel free to post them here.

I want to leave you all with these 222 photos that I took over the past few months. I try to photograph my sightings whenever possible, especially if it’s an unusual sighting. I encourage others to post their photos as well. You can easily upload photos via the Wordpress control panel.

Well it is great to find home. That’s what I felt like when I found this site, like it was my home. I share in the reality of seeing this number all the time as well. 222, it and I have been together for years now. For some reason I knew I was not crazy and I knew it meant something, but I could and have never found out what it means. The craziest 222 story that I have is once when I was painting a piece of artwork of a boy drumming on a congo drum. I originally made the drawing a few years back from the day I decided to paint it. The first problem I saw was that the drummer boy alone wasn’t a great composition, so I drew in a background from a photo I had taken after hurricane Katrina (I’m from New Orleans). The photo was of a second line (a parade-like celebration in New Orleans held in the neighborhood streets). What I wanted from the photo was the image of a shotgun house door and window. After I drew this house into my painting I started the painting process. It took weeks to finish. I noticed that I had not been seeing the numbers 222 at all and I wondered why at some point, because up to that point it was a twice a day sighting for sure. As I was finishing the painting, my wife, who knows all about me seeing 222, came into the room and said ha ha look “22″. I said where she said “on the painting- the house address, see 1313 its in between. I said ha, then I realized the whole 222 was there in the negative space 1232123. I was trippin. I said it’s been there the whole time I was painting this, and I thought I wasn’t seeing it the whole time, but I was. That was the second time in my life that I knew for sure 100% that this number means something, something about life and about humans, and that I would know one day what that meaning is.  Checkout the painting.

I was in LA last week, for the first time, at the SIGGRAPH 2008 technology conference and spent a lot of time in the downtown area. One evening, after leaving the Nokia Theatre, I noticed the number 222 stenciled on the sidewalk, this is probably one of the weirdest occurrences I’ve seen. Has anyone else ever seen it on the sidewalk? It was just there, staring back at me and of course I couldn’t help but take a photo of it:
