It all started approximately 33 years ago.  I was a swimmer in Southwest Miami high school, the swimming record for the 50 yard freestyle was 22.4 seconds. I decided I wanted to brake the record.  So I figured the best thing to do was to go buy a book on how to brake swimming records.  I found a book that suggested that one should set the time one wanted to make, I chose 22.2, it also suggested that one should posted in every room one frequented in the home. I posted it in the kitchen  in the hallway in the bathroom and in my room. I was a Junior, going to my Senior year, I followed a very strong program watching what I would eat, Practicing twice a day, before and after school, note my school would start at 7:00 am, so I would go to practice at 5:00 am.  My whole Senior year I was very dedicated.  When the awaited day came I followed all the recommendations from the book, I rested the day prior to the meet, I shaved my arms and legs. According to the book this should have taken 1 second off my time, I was doing tired, after practice a 23.0 flat.  So everything was lining up fine for me to break the record.  The day came I jumped into that pool and I was flying, in my first lap I was way ahead of the time I needed to make to brake the record, then something happened, the flip turn which I would in a regular basis do with the ease, I missed this time.  This took a devastating blow at me.  But three days later a thought came to my mind, the Lord might have other plans for me.

11 years later I was married, we were trying to have a family, my wife wouldn’t become pregnant, she was already getting embarrassed when some one would ask her, when would she be having a baby?  Well one night about 10:30 pm I was reading the Bible all of the sudden a specific passege got lit up like someone had a little reading light on top of the passege.  When I looked at the verse number it was Chapter 2 verse 22, it was talking about the presentation of the Child(Jesus) in the Temple, at that time I felt I was filled with the Holy Spirit.  I told my wife she was pregnant, she told not to play like that, I told her she was going to have a girl and it was going to be born on a 22nd. She doubted, I told her I would go immediately to buy a pregnancy test, but I noticed that it was already 10:30 pm, so I said lets wait till tomorrow.  Next day first thing in the morning, I went to buy the test, came back she did the test and sure enough she was pregnant.  The day we found out was 2/2/90. We realized she had conceived12/22/89.  We went to the Doctor she confirmed the pregnancy, she told us that she would be due  around the 26 th of September, but she might delay a little more do to being her first time having a baby.  One morning as I would usually do, I woke up started to get up to go to work, but when I looked at the digital clock half asleep, I said that’s weird 22:2 that’s not a time? oh ! realized its 2:22 I still have a little more time to sleep. A few hours later at 6:00 am I was talking to my wife when all of the sudden she says, My water just broke, my daughter was born 9/22/90.

Many times I was being Blessed with 222, every time I would see it, was a Joy and I knew I was being blessed.  My line of work is Horses, breeding them, training them, in other words everything related to the horse industry, a breed called the Paso Fino.  My biggest dream was to have a Champion we prayed for that because it could be a blessing for the family.  Some time later in the pasture of colts ther were a few. I figured if the Lord has blessed me so much with the number 222, I would name one of those colts 222, and offered him to God.  Well he eventually became a National Champion, he put us in the map.  Later he became International Champion and finally World Champion. And like they say The rest is History.  We Hope you enjoy it as much as we have.
