The Gospel of Thomas
Posted by jigborn
In the past weeks i’ve been writing about how to recreate 222 in our life as a 222ers, i suggested that we should be seen by it rather than that number (222) sees us. On the other day my cousin’s six year old daughter wanted me to fixed her bike, she just wanted that the chair of her bike be adjusted because it is too short for her now, when i did some adjustment and pulled the steel that connects the chair i saw 22.2 inscripted on it. I asked myself, Does 222 sees me this time or the other way around? I was reminded then of the unpublished gospel of thomas being quoted by the author Thurston and Fazel in their book Edgar Cayce Handbook for Creating your Future. According to Thomas in his gospel ” If you cut a piece of wood there i am in the midst, if you break a stone there i am inside…” The author continued that God is everywhere. Also i was reminded of a song during my elementary days in a catholic school entitled” Yahweh you are near”, the lyrics goes “Yahweh i know you are near/ standing always at my side….. you guard me from the foe and you lead me in ways everlasting… how can i escape from your love/ if i climb to the heavens you are there/ if i fly to the sunrise or sail beyond the sea/ still i’d find you there… how profound are your thoughts, my Lord/ even if i count them they numbered as the stars/ you would still be there. This is amazing because everybody sees 222 everywhere — and for me, i just can’t escape from its presence.
