Frequent Sightings, Site Visits and More…

I have a few startling news items to share…

First, traffic to our website is at its all time high. We have received over 2000 visits this past month, from July 26 – Aug 26 2009. That means that now more than ever people are searching for the meaning of 222. Second, late afternoon yesterday I was talking to a friend about my 222 site, he had never heard about it. As we were looking at the stats, we saw that a lot of people that were coming to the site used the keyword “angel” to get here. His name is actually Angel, that is why I pointed that statistic out. He was a bit alarmed by everything, by the number, and by the fact that we are getting so much traffic. Immediately after this the office phone made a weird beeping noise, something it never does. Right after that, we heard someone blowing into the phone, as if they were testing it. This was truly weird because no one ever tests our phone, plus it would have had to be put on speakerphone for us to hear a voice…yes it was very spooky. Angel and I were very spooked out, has this ever happened to any of you? I immediately picked up the phone and hung it up and the voice didn’t come back.

Finally, I have actually been seeing 222 a lot myself. Just today I saw that our site has 222 members and that we collaboratively have put in 222 tags into our blog posts (see screenshot below). Also, I was recently adding a plugin to a site and noticed it was version 2.2.2. of it (also see screenshot below).

Are any of you experiencing more frequent sightings?

Well, Jessica, I think I have a story similar to yours involving a phone, but it happened to my good friend who originally saw the 222s before I began seeing them everywhere. Recently, he was in the movie theater and his phone began to ring, but his ringer was OFF and the ring tone was one he had never heard before… and when he answered it there was just static on the other end. Seriously, he thought the CIA had been monitoring his activities… like seriously… he even had a “close encounter” with an alleged CIA agent who was “hanging out” with him one night. I dunno. Weird. Related, I don’t know, but he sees 222 EVERYWHERE and is totally weirded out by the phenomena! He also had other strange things happen with his phone that leads him to believe he is being monitored in some way.

Could be completely in his head, but since I read your post, I thought I’d just share for whatever it is worth. Take care!

Hey bfreelovemore! Wow, that spooked me out… does he think it’s something supernatural or is he pretty convinced it’s the CIA? The thought of someone tapping my phone never crossed my mind, I figured it might be something supernatural since the timing of it was just too perfect. It happened right after I told my friend about the keyword “angel” being used to find the site via search enginges, that’s when he shouted, “no way!” and jumped over to my computer screen to view the site stats. Two seconds after that the loud beep sounded on my landline phone, then came the voice blowing into the phone. I wonder what would’ve happened if I hadn’t picked up the phone and slammed it. That was probably foolish of me to do, I was just scared, I didn’t want to hear whatever was going to come next. Maybe next time, if there is a next time, I will let it play out.

wow, ive wondered myself many times if my phone wuz tapped, but anyway i gota learn to do that screen shot deal, cuz the first time i looked at your cluster map on this site the Total views since 10 Jul 2008 wuz 34,222. my first time on the site as well.
