I grew up in a house with the number 222.  Ever since I was little I have woken at 2.22 am regularly, I have seen the number 222 in all sorts of places all the time.  My telephone extension number at my first job ended in 222.  I bought a mobile phone and was completely randomly allocated a number ending with 222. So often when I look at the clock it is 2.22 am or pm or 12.22 or 22.22 or similar.

All of these things could be put down to coincidence but recently things have become a little bit strange.  I woke up in the night on Saturday because my heart was pounding and beating really really fast.  It frightened me to the extent that I woke my partner.  He could feel the speed at which my heart was racing.  It eventually slowed down and I went back to sleep.  The next day my mum called me at 2.22 pm.  She lives in Chicago and the time difference between us is 6 hours.  She told me that she had had to call an ambulance out to my stepfather the night before because he had experienced an attack of tachycardia (unusually fast heart rate) His heart rate peaked at 222 beats per minute.  The paramedics had stopped his heart and restarted it before taking him to the hospital.  This had all happened on the night of Feb 22 – another 222.

This is what prompted me to Google the significance of the number 222 which is how I found this site.  I now know that the number 222 is significant in so many ways and that it can be seen as a positive thing rather than scary or negative.  To know I am not the only one and that I am not going insane is a wonderful feeling.

Last night I spoke to a friend who is interested in all aspects of the paranormal.  He showed me how the number 222 can be linked to the High Priestess Tarot card, meaning enlightenment, communication and psychic ability among other things (all positive).   He also showed me the links to the Bible, to Angels and to Celtic numerology.

I am no longer frightened and am beginning to feel a lot more positive.  I am thinking of studying this further with the help of my friend.  If I do I will let you know what else I discover….
