I am not the kind of person who is prone to wild theories and supernatural foolishness.

I DO believe in coincidences, flukes that defy the odds, and other oddities that happen every day without any rhyme or reason. THATS REALITY. Not everything is supernatural or a sign from God. If so then why is he so elusive. Why not just come out and be direct?

I dont know what 222 means. Nearly my whole life I thought I was alone and was the only person who experianced this number.

It pops up everywhere. Not just on liscence plates or in phone numbers where it can be explained. Lots of numbers repeat: 111, 333, 444, Etc. Numbers are going to clump together. They are numbers. They do that. It means nothing.

But then why does 222 keep popping up in weird places and before or during important events?? Why does it oddly appear like a punch in the face right before some major event in my life?? I have been asking for 20 years and its occurrences seem more than some odd fluke.

I dated a girl (for 6 years) who I met on the 222cd day of the year. ( I only discovered this recently looking at a calendar)

I met another girlfriend on 2/2/02 and we slept together for the first time on 2/22 of that same month. (The first woman I had been with since my girlfriend of 6 years.)

I moved back to Portland (absolutely lifechanging) 8 years ago on the 222cd day of the year and didnt realize it until later. I thought to myself “Oh, thats odd. This is my Ex’s and my old anniversary” without really thinking which day it fell on.

I can go on and on. Those are just the dates. The times are far more frequent.

Major calls that come in at 2:22.

Seeing 2:22 on a clock right before some piece of major news.

Rewinding videotapes that stop on -2:22 (more than once)

Major phone calls that last 2:22 exactly.

Serious, life-changing events that are marked by a set of numbers that mathmaticly should not pop up in my day to day life NEARLY as often as they do. It not only creeps me out but my friends have noticed how often it happens to me and are worried by it.

What does it mean? I dont know. I need answers and am willing to listen to any rational theory or story.

Mickey i gotta say.. you are asking a really strange question. you want a RATIONAL explanation for something that is totally and absolutely IRRATIONAL. so why rebuke everyone else’s ideologies about it, such as Angels, Aliens, and Spirits, when there is NO “sane” way to look at it? We are not crazy my friend; we simply look at all aspects of what these numbers could mean. I suggest you take a broader approach to your search for truth… These numbers are not simply numbers. You already know that. So why are you stuck in a mindframe that doesn’t permit supernatural phenomena? I can safely say there is something higher leading these numbers into our lives… Take a bit of time to do some soul-searching. They are not simply numbers. Not going to push my ideas down your throat, but please.. Allow yourself to break free of the restraints of commonality and society’s hold. Be free and able to see all sides of this. It’s the only way you’re going to really ascertain truth. I’m not offended that you don’t believe in the things I believe in… I’m simply saying: To really understand these numbers, wanting a feasible, rational explanation that has NOTHING to do with supernatural phenomena… well it’s not in the bag. The one reason I hear about why people see this number is that we are sub-consciously “looking” for it. Like if someone tells you about a certain number THEY are seeing, and then you start seeing it too, because you’re sort of.. “turned on” to it. Well that’s not how 222 works. It finds US, ya know? We don’t look for it n stuff.. I have woken up several times to the clock being 2:22 am, being asleep for several hours.. Listening to music, pausing it and it happens to be at 2:22.. Watching movies like the Dark Knight, and 2:22 appears in it as well, at 34:44 into the movie. Didn’t know that till just recently, when things have getting more exciting with the numbers.. and in Hot Fuzz, when Sergeant Angel is asking a kid at the bar his birthday, the kid says “February 22nd”, i mean wow. these numbers are not rational, logical, reasonable, or anything ORDINARY. The sooner you accept that mentality.. the sooner you’ll find truth. Just my two cents pal.

Otherwise maybe a Psychiatrist may have an answer you may be looking for. In the saner realm where people go for saner reasons, medication or something in your own mind is the solution. It’s not my belief and I do not judge people because we were all made differently with different belief systems, I just like to believe that we can meet in the middle. There is a good chance you may know something I have yet to learn and vica versa but that can never happen if we can’t meet in the middle.
I truly wish I had a logical explanation but I’d have to believe that their is one and their cannot be, to me. To many coincidences, I mean their is a definite connection to this and if it’s logical maybe its scientific on a higher understanding then we have reached to solve this, what does that leave.
and why so many of us with this particular number.
Personally I like 8 never even cared of 2 even 69 because we reached the moon the year I was born but I do not see 69 ever where I go or happen to look, I see 2:22 or 222 or $22.22 or $2.22 etc.

Humm, See the 222 thing alot, but today when sending a form to the county recorder for a copy of my marriage certificate I noticed the address. Yep 222 Hospitality Ln. Da what’s up? Even the county is in on it. Well I’m safe now(I think), it’s 4:04 AM. At 2:22 PM tomorrow I think I’ll be one up on it and be waiting to confront it. How do you confront something like that? I will probably forget and miss it this time and it will just laugh at me. No, I don’t do drugs or drink ETOH. Here, want to see some of them. 222,222,222,222,222,222,222,222,222,222,222 and 222. That should hold you for awhile. Sorry about that, but it is getting me a little crazy.
